OPS
orangePurpleSilver is launching in two days—a streamlined web site presence and design package for small to medium-sized businesses like ours. Available starting today, our web 2.0 (and web 2.5) site packages will upgrade your image quickly, easily and with no fuss on your part. Leave the technical details to us! Contact Angela Watson for more information.
We’re upgrading again!
We’ve had such a positive response regarding our new web site that I have decided to upgrade our site again. If you notice a few loading errors while browsing during the next couple of days, please forgive the “construction dust,” as it’s only momentary—just hit your web browser’s “refresh” button and all will be well with the world. Coming up: sales referrals (refer a friend, get a commission check!), free personal blogging software for your Mac and PC, much more artwork and design pieces, and an easier contact form!
Faster website
Our new caching system is in place and the main site is now 25% to 200% faster, depending on which page you’re visiting.
A beta notice
The new site is now being served in aDOM, an object-oriented content management system. AJAX, Adobe® AIR and multilingual features are being added. If you experience any issues with our site, please don’t hesitate to use the comment form.
New sections arriving soon
New features and sections to arrive soon: photography, art samples, project descriptions, AJAX features and site search, new site languages (beginning with Chinese, French, Spanish and Portuguese) and personal blogs for each site artist, and personal biographies for each artist, manager and contract negotiator. If you’re a skilled translator for any of the above languages, or are a native Tagalog or Spanish speaker, please contact us.
New site available
The beta version of the new website has been placed online for semipublic review. Most sections are not yet complete, as this is such a huge work-in-progress. At last count, there were over 187,000 items in the database, only about 1,200 of which are currently represented by pages on our site. If you feel like it, please leave us a comment by visiting the comment form. Client logins are currently somewhat limited for security reasons.
